RingConn
RingConn Gen 2
The no-subscription smart ring — most of Oura's daily value for a one-off price, with less polish and a thinner evidence base.

RingConn's pitch is simple: buy it once, own the data. It tracks sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, temperature and activity, with battery life that beats most rivals, and the Gen 2 case adds multi-week charging. The app is less refined than Oura's and the validation literature is thin — you're trusting the vendor's own numbers more than published comparisons. For trend-tracking rather than precision, that's an acceptable trade at the price.
Is the measurement validated?
Limited independent validation. Vendor-reported accuracy only; no substantial polysomnography literature. Fine for trends, not for answering a clinical question.

Watch out
Thin validation and a less mature app. You're buying the business model as much as the sensor.
Price checked 2026-08-09 and quoted at MSRP — hardware pricing moves. Consumer devices estimate rather than diagnose; discuss anything clinical with your doctor.
